Originally launched in 2000 as the Ceramic Industry Forum, CIF was established as a non-profit making organisation to support the ceramics sector in the key areas of:
- Manufacturing Process Improvement
- Design and Marketing
- Human Resource and Employee Skills Development
Using tools and techniques developed and successfully used with the automotive industry, CIF now operates across a wide range of manufacturing and commercial sectors. Successful improvement projects have been run in industries ranging from snack foods to shower enclosures and fabricators to joinery and from shop floor level to boardroom.
